Appreciation is the key

Diary of a pure positive mind

Appreciationis the key

It is quite normal now. I wake up in the morning with deep feelings of joy. When I realize that, I usually start to think about all that positive stuff happening to me at the moment. I can hardly believe that I am literally getting everything I want. No, more than that: in many areas of my life I am far ahead, concerning what I once expected.

This morning I realized (again) that it is the appreciation, that leads you to the right things -especially in long-term. It is so obvious, that it seems far too easy. Let´s say you are a kid and you love dogs. When you appreciate dogs, you´ll tend to have friends who like dogs. You might have a lot of dogs in your life. If you go on appreciating and concentrating on what you love about dogs, 20 years later, you might have an amazing job, somehow connected to dogs, or even with a dog. If you go on appreciating, what actually happens is, you´ll have a dog that is so amazing, that everybody is astonished. You happen to realize everyday what an amazing animal that is and you tend to get a lot of postive feelings out of that.

It seems like EVERYTHING we are truly appreciating produces traces in our lifes. The longer you focus on the good (as I do) and the longer you live, the clearer this connection gets. Might be that other people believe and say, that you are just a lucky bastard, that all the stuff that happens to you just proves, you are extraordinary lucky and they are not. That life is unjust and you get it all on the silver plate. The truth is, every single time, you really appreciate something and truly feel the value of something you are working a little bit towards it.

Somebody who is negative can´t see this connection. They don´t really listen to your words of appreciation. They are like negativity detectors. They focus too much on the negative. Just take your time and LISTEN! Who´s savoring the food? Saying things like “wow, those blueberries are delicious!”, who is praising their friends or their family? Who´s complimenting his colleague? Who´s appreciating other people´s music or art? Who´s enthusiastic about things? Saying for instance “I just love stones”. And then watch (over the years) what they get! This is a causal connection and you will ALLWAYS get what you appreciate.
